Hair Extension Methods
Micro Wax Tip Hair Extensions
Micro Wax Hair Extensions are individual strands of extensions with a wax bond attached to the tip of the strand. The wax is a natural protein, which is kind to your hair & also promotes hair growth.
They are applied using a heat connector, which heats the wax up & seals it, so it’s like the shape of a grain of rice. The bonds are very small & unnoticeable & is suitable for all hair types especially fine/thin hair. Maintenance visits are needed every 4 to 8 weeks to keep them looking like new. The extensions can last for up to 3-4 months then will need to be removed. If you choose the high quality hair & it is still in good condition the hair can be sent to be retipped & then be refitted. It takes about a week to get the hair retipped.
Micro wax is the most secure method on the market but it's still important that you follow the aftercare & use Cinderelle's hair extension shampoo & conditioners to prolong the life of the extensions & prevent the bonds from going soft or sticky. Tape in Hair Extensions
Tape In Hair Extensions are small 4cm wide wefts with a medical grade adhesive which is placed in between sections of your natural hair in sandwich like pieces & lays completely flat. It's considered one of the most fastest hair extension applications on the market & it's kind to your hair. Tapes are ideal for medium to thick hair. But not suitable for thin or oily hair as they can show through thin hair & any oil in the hair can break down the adhesive & cause slippage. Tapes requires no maintenance appointments & can be worn between 1 to 2 months then need removing, retaping & refitting. This can be done in one visit. It's essential that you follow the aftercare & use Cinderelle's hair extension shampoos & conditioners to prolong the life of the extensions & prevent the tapes from going sticky & slipping out. LA Weave Hair Extensions
LA Weave Hair Extensions is a braidless sew-in technique, similar to the traditional weaved in extensions method but without the tight braids. There is no glue, heat or braiding involved. The wefts are sewn into the client’s hair on a track of micro rings & a full head of extensions can be achieved in just 1 to 2 hours. The weave feels comfortable yet secure & there is virtually no visibility of the extensions, which means being able to tie your hair up without seeing them. It's ideal for all hair types except oily hair as the oil can cause the weave to slip. This method is the easiest to maintain. The LA Weave will last for 1 to 2 months. Then can be taken out & refitted in 1 visit. Hidden Double Weave Hair Extensions
Hidden Double Weave Hair Extensions is a braidless technique. There is no glue, heat or braiding involved. Two wefts are sewn together every 2cm then client's hair is pulled through 2cm gap then fixed with micro rings. The rings are hidden in between the 2 wefts so they can't be seen when wearing the hair up. So virtually there's no visibility of the extensions. A full head can be fitted in 1 to 2 hours. It's ideal for all hair types except oily hair as the oil can cause the weave to slip. This method is the easiest to maintain. The Hidden Double Weave will last for 1 to 2 months then can be taken out & refitted in 1 visit. Clip In Hair Extensions
Clip In Hair Extensions is hair sewn onto a long weft either machine sewn, hand sewn or PU flat weft then cut into different sizes to fit the head & then have small hair clips sewn onto the weft. They are attached by sectioning your hair across your head then backcomb your hair at root then clip one of the pieces into the back combed hair. Work your way around your head fitting more pieces untill you get your desired effect. These are fitted via DIY method & with practice only takes minutes to fit & can last all day if fitted securely but they must be taken out before bed as they can cause matting if slept in. They come in all different lengths, colours & thickness to match upto 99% of peoples hair. Also in a choice of different hair types & qualities from synthetic hair, thermo fibre hair, chinese hair, indian hair, brazilian hair, mongolian hair & russain hair.
