Remy & Non Remy

You may have heard this word used a lot in the hair extension & wig market. But do you actually know what it means. Remy is not a "brand" or make of hair. It means that when the hair is donated the hair is kept with the root & tip travelling in the same direction or if the bales of hair gets mixed up the hair is sorted by hand so the cuticle of every strand is all going in the right direction from root to tip. So the hair doesn't matt up or tangle when brushing or styling as you won't be brushing against cuticle alignment. Due to this Remy hair costs more but lasts longer than non Remy.
